In line with other providers delivering complimentary eye and hearing tests, At Home Dental are pleased to offer a free dental assessment to residents at care homes across our areas of operation.
This forms part of At Home Dental’s goal of ensuring dental access for all, regardless of circumstance, and comes with absolutely no commitment or obligation.
For each care home resident, we will provide (at no cost):
- An Oral Health Care Assessment
- An Oral Health Care Plan to be used as part of your residents’ care plan
For the care home’s team of carers (also at no cost), we will provide:
- Oral Health Care Training
- Full support from our dental team
- Certification showing your commitment to residents’ oral health
- We are not here to replace any dental provision that you currently have in place, but to enhance this.
There is no obligation for residents to use this mobile dental service moving forwards, but At Home Dental will remain on-hand to offer our mobile dental service, should it be required. Affordable dental plans incorporating regular hygiene visits and examinations are available, as well as discounted dental treatments.
At Home Dental currently operate in nearly 800 care homes across the South of England and were recently visited by CQC, who were impressed with service levels and commitment to delivering domiciliary dental care.
